The idea of this album started in November 2010 when Groove Unlimited Records asked me the compose and produce a track for the Dutch Masters album (GR-177). My entry for that remarkable album was a track inspired on the painting by Carel Willink (1900-1983), The Zeppelin (1933).

After handed in the track to Groove, I decided to investigate further possibilities for doing a whole album about these interesting flying machines. This is the result of that process.

The photos were taken right after the Schallwende Gruga Park concert on June 4th, 2011 when accidently a Zeppelin flew over.

This first edition of the album was released on October 1st, 2011. In November 2014 I decided that this wonderful album could sound a lot better after a complete remix of the tracks. There are some minor additions but overall the same tapes were used for the remix.
